Lookbook Photos

Had my final ever hand in on Wednesday so have not had time to update the old blog with the photos from my photoshoot until now! The photoshoot went extremely well thanks to Patricia Morris who set up the studio, took the photos and edited them and the fantastic models Lois Mills and Tasha Minter! 

Very pleased with the final collection of photos - these are only the final 7 chosen for the Lookbook which were extremely difficult to choose as we had 173 altogether, most of which were amazing!

T-SHIRTS ARE READY!!!

So happy that my t-shirts were ready today! Bit of a shock with the price as they took a while to make due to the difficult combination of silk and jersey but hey the best ideas always take the longest and cost the most right?!
Below are photos of the 4 t-shirts on mannequins, on people and hanging up with my samples. Pretty pleased with them!

Here are 3 of the 4 of the t-shirts on the mannequin in the studio and all my samples hanging up on the door to keep them flat! No more ironing now the edges have been finished!

Looking forward to my photoshoot on Thursday with my good friend and wonderful photographer Patricia Morris taking the photos! Will post the photos from the shoot up afterwards as these photos definately do not do the t-shirts justice.

So many samples!

Got all my samples back from digital print and been busy in the print room devoreing them and recently FOILING them in pink and green metallic foils which can be a bit alarming. Printing onto my final and expensive samples is quite alarming too and there have been a few accidents! Although nothing too major yet...
Getting my t-shirts back on Tuesday too which is exciting..!

Duvet Cover?

Digital Prints are in!

Took some photos of the fabric for my t-shirts before I devored it and gave it to Sue to make them up! Photos of the Devore and t-shirts to follow! The fabrics are jersey and silk/viscose satin.

T-shirt Decisions

Chosen my 4 favourite designs which show a vareity of imagery for my 4 t-shirts which will be going in the degree show. Was originally going to have one from each of my collections but decided in the end just to choose the ones I like the best! 

Designing

I design the t-shirts on an A3 landscape sheet with an outline of the front and back of the t-shirt on a seperate layer so I can see how it looks as a t-shirt as I go along. The designs below are the A3 designs which I will digitally print and then cut the t-shirt pattern out of.
